Italy returned as one of the Big 5 countries for the 2011 edition of Eurovision, after an absence of more than a decade. The country finished in 2^nd place. Even though Bosnia- Herzegovena and Italy attracted 12 points from more countries, Azerbaijan’s overall score led to its first victory. The winning nation has been consistently represented by some very strong entries, but "Running Scared" is one of the weaker ones.
