An entry could receive a maximum of 5 points in 1963. The Danish song would achieve this from 5 juries. Again, Eurovision failed to reflect the shift in popular music and continued serving unremarkable tunes. Still, "Dansevise" was the first Scandinavian song to triumph. It was also the first winning entry performed by a duo.
