EUROVISION 2021: THE 39 SONGS (RANKED IN ORDER OF QUALITY).
Today: THE TOP 3. This concludes the countdown.
EUROVISION 2021
THE 39 SONGS
(in order of preference)
The number of competitors for this year’s Eurovision Song Contest has decreased to 39 with the withdrawal of Armenia and Belarus being disqualified. After being cancelled last year, the 2021 ESC will go ahead in Rotterdam in May. Caffè Lattè has ranked all of the entries in terms of sonic quality, as it does annually. The higher the ranking, the better the song.
*Note that a live performance and the on-stage presentation may alter the overall impact of a song.

VOICES
Tusse
Sweden
Another win at Eurovision would see Sweden tie with Ireland for a record 7th victory. Tusse has a powerful song that is among the favourites this year. He should deliver the goods during Semi Final 1. His song is a worthy winner. “Voices” will finish well, within the Top 10.
#2
DISCOTEQUE
The Roop
Lithuania
The Roop was selected to represent Lithuania in 2020 with “On Fire”. This quirky song soon evolved into a strong contender for the win. Eurovision was then cancelled and Lithuania seemed to have lost an opportunity to achieve its first ever victory. The Roop had to try out again in the 2021 national finals, where the group was selected once more for the ESC. “Discoteque” is a vast improvement on the previous entry. The song is more relatable without losing its unique qualities: a rarity among many of the returning acts in tis year’s field. It will face opposition in Semi Final 1 where it will be heard first. “Discoteque” is so good, that it should overcome this disadvantage and earn a well-deserved place in the Grand Final. It is already a firm favourite and just might bring a first victory for Lithuania after 20 previous entries.
#1
JE ME CASSE
Destiny
Malta
Destiny was also slated for the 2020 ESC with one of the better entries: “All Of My Love”. She has returned this year with an even stronger song. For weeks now, “Je Me Casse” has emerged as the leading favourite. It is similar to Netta’s winning song “Toy”, but delivered with added credibility, fun and might. Despite its French title, the song is to be sung last in English in Semi Final 1. Destiny won Junior Eurovision in 2015. She is poised to claim the top prize in the adult version of the Contest. Malta has waited decades for its first Eurovision win, debuting back to 1971. “Je Me Casse” will be the country’s 33rd entry and looks set to be its best performing song.
