Today: #11. More: tomorrow.

EUROVISION 2021

THE 39 SONGS

(in order of preference)

The number of competitors for this year’s Eurovision Song Contest has decreased to 39 with the withdrawal of Armenia and Belarus being disqualified. After being cancelled last year, the 2021 ESC will go ahead in Rotterdam in May. Caffè Lattè has ranked all of the entries in terms of sonic quality, as it does annually. The higher the ranking, the better the song.

*Note that a live performance and the on-stage presentation may alter the overall impact of a song.

ZITTI E BUONI

Måneskin

Italy

The official cover for "Zitti e buoni"

As one of Eurovision’s ‘Big 5’ countries, Italy has pre-qualified for the Grand Final. It is also one of the founding countries of the ESC. Eurovision is based on its Festival di Sanremo. As the winning song at that annual contest, Måneskin will be representing Italy with its daring song. “Zitti E Buoni” is very different from what audiences would expect from Italy at Eurovision. At present, it is a strong contender and should finish in the Top 10 on the big night, but is unlikely to result in a 3rd Italian victory.
