EUROVISION 2021: THE 39 SONGS (RANKED IN ORDER OF QUALITY).

Today: #12. More: tomorrow.

EUROVISION 2021

THE 39 SONGS

(in order of preference)

The number of competitors for this year’s Eurovision Song Contest has decreased to 39 with the withdrawal of Armenia and Belarus being disqualified. After being cancelled last year, the 2021 ESC will go ahead in Rotterdam in May. Caffè Lattè has ranked all of the entries in terms of sonic quality, as it does annually. The higher the ranking, the better the song.

*Note that a live performance and the on-stage presentation may alter the overall impact of a song.

TECHNICOLOUR

Montaigne

Australia

The official cover for "Technicolour"

Montaigne was voted by the Australian public to perform at Eurovision in 2020. She will finally get her opportunity to compete in 2021, although it has already been announced that she will be performing from Australia and not in Rotterdam. “Technicolour” is a better song than her 2020 entry, but is still unremarkable. Being in Semi-Final 1 will only make it harder for the song to qualify for the Grand Final. If it does make it through, it will struggle to finish near the Top 10 on the final leaderboard.
