"All Day And All Of The Night" was the perfect follow-up for The Kinks' international hit "You Really Got Me". The latter topped the UK Chart and peaked at #7 Stateside. In 1965, "Tired Of Waiting For You" succeeded the former, returning the British band to #1 and peaking higher than its previous 2 singles in America: #6.
