Trivia:

Johnny Logan had previously competed at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1980, where he won with the Irish entry "What's Another Year?". He returned to the Contest 7 years later with "Hold Me Now" and became the first (and to date only) performer to score a second victory. Incredibly, in 1992, Logan penned the winning song "Why Me?" which was performed by Linda Martin. Ireland has won Eurovision a record 7 times, with Logan involved in 3 of the victories!
