-Rihanna accuses Chris Brown of assault.

On June 25, 2009, the world was shocked with the news that superstar Michael Jackson had died suddenly. The fact that such a beloved and influential musical figure had passed away in such tragic and sad circumstances added to the global grief. Musically, David Guetta married house music with hip hop / R&B in a fresh new way with his own album and his collaboration with The Black Eyed Peas: "I Gotta Feeling". The power of the internet became increasingly more evident with the worldwide interest in Susan Boyle on YouTube.
