Trivia: Named after an erotic Brazilian dance, "Lambada" added some exotic flavour to charts around the world in 1989-90. Kaoma consisted of singers, musicians and dancers from a variety of countries. The group was based in Paris, France. "Lambada" reached #1 in Europe and made the Top 5 in Canada and Australia.
