“Mrs Robinson” had the working title of “Mrs Roosevelt” before being modified for use in the cult classic ‘The Graduate’, a movie starring Anne Bancroft (who played Mrs Robinson) and Dustin Hoffman. The single topped the US and Canadian charts as well as reaching the Top 10 in Britain, Europe, Australia and New Zealand.
