MOST WINS
Currently, Sweden is the big favourite to win the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest. Should this eventuate, that country will equal the record presently held solely by Ireland for the most wins. The latter has produced 7 winners. Sweden sits in second place with its 6 victories which started in 1974 with ABBA.
Ireland has not won the
Eurovision Song Contest since 1996. Sweden, on the other hand, has won in 1974,
1984, 1991, 1999, 2012 and most recently in 2015. All will be revealed when Loreen takes to the stage to perform the 2023 Swedish entry "Tattoo".
