Marvin Gaye was paired with Motown female singers including Mary Wells, Kim Weston and Diana Ross. By far, his best duets were recorded with Tammi Terrell. "Ain't Nothing Like The Real Thing" was another classic written and produced by Nickolas Ashford and his partner Valerie Simpson. It was included on the duo's second studio album 'You're All I Need', issued in the same year as the hit single.
