Stevie Wonder's soundtrack for Spike Lee's 1991 film 'Jungle Fever' featured the underrated and self-penned gem "Queen In The Black".

LET'S DO IT (LET'S FALL IN LOVE)
Marvin Gaye & Kim Weston
Along with recording some great hits as a soloist, Marvin Gaye cut some of Motown's best duets. His partners included Tammi Terrell, Mary Wells, Diana Ross and Kim Weston. The Cole Porter standard "Let's Do It (Let's Fall In Love)" was given a Detroit makeover in1966 but was archived until 1990.

LOOKIN' THROUGH THE WINDOWS

"Lookin' Through The Windows" was the title track from The Jackson 5's 1972 album release. The single peaked at #16 in the USA.

Neo-soul artiste India.Arie included the upbeat "Can I Walk With You" on her 2002 album 'Voyage To India'. The following year, it was lifted as a single.

Diana Ross
"Surrender" is the title track from Diana Ross' 3rd solo album. Released in 1971, the cut was written and produced by Nickolas Ashford and Valerie Simpson. In Britain, the single reached the Top 10.

Stevie Wonder
Stevie Wonder's "Too High" addresses drug abuse. It was the opening track on his 1973 album 'Innervisions'. The funky number showcases his musical versatility. Wonder wrote, produced and arranged the song.

Diana Ross
Richard Perry produced Diana Ross' 1977 album 'Baby It's Me'. One of the tracks lifted as a single was the tender ballad "Too Shy To Say". It was penned by her labelmate Stevie Wonder. His original version was on the 'Fulfillingness' First Finale' album issued 3 years before.

NEVER DREAMED YOU'D LEAVE IN SUMMER

StevieWonderWhereImComingFrom.JPGStevie Wonder and his spouse Syreeta Wright co-wrote the emotional "Never Dreamed You'd Leave In Summer". He produced it. The track was included on his 1971 album 'Where I'm Coming From'. Its lyrics use the changing of the seasons to track the end of a relationship. His vocal perfectly echoes the heartache oozing from every groove. Joan Baez and Three Dog Night are among the acts that have covered the poignant ballad.

READY FOR LOVE
India.Arie

"Ready For Love" is a breathtaking soul treasure contained on India.Arie's debut album 'Acoustic Soul'. Issued in 2001, it introduced the new Motown star to a worldwide audience. She co-wrote the song with Blue Miller.
