"Hurricane" deals with the true story of Rubin Carter. He is incarcerated for a crime he did not commit. Bob Dylan's song chronicles the miscarriage of justice in Carter's case. The system is skewed against the boxer because of the colour of his skin. 
Released in 1975, the single was included on Dylan's 'Desire' album. The song is a moving account of the bias in the legal system that led to the imprisonment of an innocent man.
