New Order
The best selling 12" single in UK history is also arguably the most influentual British dance track. "Blue Monday" was initially issued in 1983. The New Order single has been remixed and re-released many times since.

Them
British blues meets garage rock on Them's thrilling original version of "Gloria". Written by group member Van Morrison, the song has been covered by the likes of The Doors and Patti Smith.

Phil Collins
Still the best track created by Phil Collins, "In The Air Tonight" reached #2 in 1981. This was the single with which he aunched his solo career. As well co-producing and handling lead vocals, Collins shines on drums.

Wings
Paul McCartney crefted one of the most memorable Bond film title songs for his group Wings to record. It made the Top 10 in 1973 and was produced by George Martin.

RUNNING UP THAT HILL
Kate Bush
Kate Bush has never compromised her music. She is an original and her songcraft remains a major influence on female singer / songwriters. "Running Up That Hill" finds Bush unleashing her creativity. She was rewarded with a #3 peak for the 1985 release.
