1978
Diana co-starred with Michael Jackson in the film version of the stage production "The Wiz" in 1978. This duet featured the 2 in their respective roles as Dorothy and Scarecrow.

The Supremes' album 'I Hear A Symphony' included this, the B-side on the "My World Is Empty Without You" single. It was penned by Eddie Holland and James Dean (not to be confused with the actor).

1980
Diana’s version of the title song for the 1980 film was produced by Michael Masser, who co-wrote the ballad with Carole Bayer Sager. The single peaked at #9 in America and #16 in the UK.
