THE 41 SONGS

(ranked in order of preference)

The Eurovision Song Contest begins in Tel Aviv on May 14. Two semi-finals will see 35 songs reduced to 20 to join last year’s winning nation Israel and the pre-qualified ‘Big 5’ countries (France, Italy, Spain, United Kingdom & Germany) in the Grand Final 4 days later.

The songs are ranked in order of song quality, starting with the weakest of the 41 entries. Preferences may change once they are performed live during the Semi-Finals.

Kobi Marimi

Performed in English, this song has pre-qualified for the Grand Final following Israel's win last year with Netta's "Toy". This is in stark contrast to that entry. Lyrically, it is powerful but will ultimately be deemed too heavy for a repeat Israeli victory.
