(I WOULD) DIE FOR YOU
Antique
GREECE 2001
In Copenhagen, Greece achieved its best ESC result with this upbeat track. It marked the first time the country was not represented by a song performed entirely in Greek. The duo Antique consisted of members born in Sweden to Greek parents. In the Grand Final, the song ended up in 3rd place. One member- Helena Paparizou- would return to Eurovision 4 years later and bring Greece its only victory in the contest.
