HONESTY

After ballads such as “Just The Way You Are” and “She’s Always A Woman” attracted much of the attention on ‘The Stranger’, Billy risked being labelled a balladeer when he released “Honesty” as a single lifted off ‘52nd Street’. The track deals with the difficulty of finding truth and honesty in a relationship. As Billy explains in the lyrics: “I don’t want some pretty face to tell me pretty lies, all I want is someone to believe”. On the charts, the song reached #1 in France and made the Top 30 in America and Canada.
