CAFFE` LATTE` TOP 2000 TRACKS

#176 MY LOVE Petula Clark
By the time British singer Petula Clark released "My Love", it was her 1st hit recorded in the USA. Tony Hatch penned the song while on a flight bound for L.A. with the singer. Hatch also took care of the track's production.
"My Love" was issued as a single in 1965. Clark achieved an American and Canadian #1 with the disc in 1966. The song reached the Top 10 in Britain, Australia, New Zealand, Rhodesia and South Africa.
Clark continued charting high through to 1968. Subsequent hits included "A Sign of the Times", "This is my Song", "The Last Waltz" and "The Other Man's Grass Is Always Greener". Her most recent single release was "Never Enough" in 2013. Clark has acted in movies and appeared in stage productions. She still tours to this day.

This is a list made up of the songs I enjoy the most, ranked in order of preference: the higher we go, the more I cherish them. Some were released as singles, others as album tracks. Some are obscure; others were worldwide hits or have universal appeal. They aren't always the most famous or popular, but simply a personal choice. I have excluded songs from the last few years in order to get a better idea of a song's lasting impression. I hope you find some new tracks to love, or re-discover some past favourites.
A new song from the Top 200 is added each day, while another 2 are also included from positions 1501-2000 daily. Check back here every 12 hours for an update of the 2000.
