BEN E. KING 1938-2015.

R.I.P.
BEN E. KING
I was shattered to hear about the passing of 1 of the most incredible voices in soul music. Ben E. King led The Drifters to their greatest recording triumphs: “Save The Last Dance For Me:”, “There Goes My Baby” and “I Count the Tears”. When he left the group, King launched a solo career that gave the world beautiful tracks such as “Amor”, “Spanish Harlem”, "Cry No More" and “The Record (Baby I Love You)”. He will perhaps best be remembered for the unforgettable “Stand By Me”.
King died aged 76 on April 30 apparently of natural causes.
