THE GRAND FINAL RUNNING ORDER & LIKELIHOOD OF WINNING
1-SLOVENIA” Here For You”

This is catchy
and 1 of the few upbeat songs. Being the 1st heard, it is an
unlikely winner, as audiences will have forgotten it by the voting time.
2- FRANCE “N’Oubliez Pas”
This will have
a strong impact with its backdrop and ‘Les Miserables’-type presentation. It’s
perhaps too gloomy to be a strong contender. This is a strong & classy song
but appears too early; so will struggle to finish well. The producers have
given it no chance as a consequence.

3- ISRAEL “Golden Boy”

If producers
put it this early for the night, the fun song must have fared poorly in Semi
–Final 2. Hence, it is unlikely to do well.
4- ESTONIA “Goodbye To Yesterday”

5- UNITED KINGDOM “Still In Love With You”
Its performers
lack charisma and the novelty of this ‘The Great Gatsby’ – like presentation
seems to be suffering in the live execution. Its early place reveals it is an
unlikely to finish strong. Might even end up last overall, though it does
deserve a better finish.
6- ARMENIA “Face The Shadow”

A politically
charged song that is well presented, but again, has been positioned too early
in the night. It will fail to stand out after the next 21 songs have been
heard.

Having been
positioned so early in the proceedings, this will be a case of “thanks for
coming along. See you next year”. It’s catchy and the dancers’ gay kisses will make an impact, but there’s
nothing extraordinary going on here.
8- SERBIA “Beauty Never Lies”
This positive vocal blast will resonate with the audience, but (surprisingly) is positioned too early in the night to be a major threat.
This positive vocal blast will resonate with the audience, but (surprisingly) is positioned too early in the night to be a major threat.

Another
cleverly crafted entry that seems likely to be overlooked due to its being
heard this early. It’s a grower so, maybe it can persevere despite the odds.
10- SWEDEN “Heroes”
Swedish pop
star Måns remains the strong favourite. “Heroes” ran away with Semi-Final 2
which may explain its being positioned early in the night- in order to give the
other countries a chance. The Avicii –sounding song sounds like a Eurovision
winner. Its contemporary. strong and upbeat message will stand out among so
many ballads this year. If that were not enough, the animation in its
presentation will make this the song to beat. Sweden should become the 2nd
most successful ESC nation this year with its 6th victory.
11- CYPRUS “One Thing I Should Have Done”

12- AUSTRALIA “Tonight Again”
This song has
maintained its strong potential leading up to the night. Its Bruno Mars- sound
will be a welcome distraction from the gloomy and slow songs in the pack. Australia’s
debut could see it welcomed with a Top 5 finish.
13- BELGIUM “Rhythm Inside”

14- AUSTRIA “I Am Yours”
Austria easily
stood out last year. This understated song is Coldplay enough to be heard on
radio. It’s an awesome track which will hoefully finish well, but Austria won’t
make it 2 consecutive wins.
15- GREECE “One Last Breath”

16- MONTENEGRO “Adio”
One of the few
songs not performed in English, and this is part of its charm. It is a cultural
and classy song that will cut through language constraints. It won’t win, but is a mighty entry.
17- GERMANY “Black Smoke”

18- POLAND “In The Name Of Love”

19- LATVIA “Love Injected”

20- ROMANIA “De La Capat (All Over Again)”
The best of the
sad message songs with a theme that will move the audience. A beautifully
crafted song aimed squarely at the heartstrings.

A big ballad
sung in Spanish that will stand out has been placed late enough to give it a
deserved chance, but is unlikely to finish Top 5.
This ballad is
bound to attract votes with its anti-war message. It must have finished well in
Semi-Final 1 to be given this position in the draw, so expect it to finish in
the Top 10.
23- GEORGIA “Warrior”

24- AZERBAIJAN “Hour Of The Wolf”

25- RUSSIA “A Million Voices”

26- ALBANIA “I’m Alive”
Sandwiched
between 2 of the bigger contenders, Albania will be dwarfed by Russia and
Italy’s performances. Its late spot in the proceedings will give it some hope,
but this is destined to be overlooked.
27- ITALY “Grande Amore”
A massive song
like this is the perfect way to conclude proceedings. It’s an epic production
with quality written all over it. In any other year, it would win but it faces
tough competition from Russia and even more from Sweden. The fact that it isn’t
sung in English may hurt its chances but it will be heard last and leave an
indelible mark in your memory.
ENJOY THE SHOW!
