THE GAME: QUEEN
Queen The Game.png
 [1980]
Queen's 'The Game' finds the legendary rock group at a turning point in its discography. Gone is the bombastic pomp of past releases. Rock gives way to pop sensibilities. Whle this album lacks anything as mighty as "Bohemian Rhapsody", "We Will Rock You", "Somebody To Love" or "We Are The Champions", it contains many underrated songs. These include "Save Me", "Play The Game", "Don't Try Suicide", "Need Your Loving Tonight" and "Sail Away Sweet Sister". The album does include 2 of the band's best selling singles: the rockabilly "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" and funky "Another One Bites The Dust". 'The Game' may not be perfect, but it is the most accessible of Queen's albums.
Highlight tracks: Another One Bites The Dust; Save Me; Play The Game & Sail Away Sweet Sister.
