Trivia: "The Morning After" is an Oscar-winning song featured in the film 'The Poseidon Adventure', set on a luxury liner that is capsized by a tidal wave after its passengers ring in the new year. Maureen McGovern repeated this success 2 years later with another Academy Award-winning song, "We May Never Love Like This Again", from another disaster film, 'The Towering Inferno'.
