Stevie recorded his version of this song in 1967 but it remained in the Motown vaults until 1977 when it was included on the triple album anthology “Looking Back’. In between, Aretha Franklin released a remake that topped the US R&B Chart and peaked at #3 on the Pop equivalent in 1974. The version also reached #26 in Britain and #8 in Canada.
