Despite still holding the record for the
most wins at Eurovision, Ireland has struggled in recent years. At times, the
Irish entry has failed to qualify for the Grand Final. In 2013, “Only Love
Survives” finished in 8th place in Semi-Final 1. At the Grand Final,
Ryan Dolan only managed 5 points, relegating Ireland to the bottom of the
scoreboard.
