Pete Waterman and Mike Stock were two-thirds of a hitmaking trio that created global hits for the likes of Kylie Minogue, Bananarama, Donna Summer and Rick Astley. Expectations would have been high for the UK entry written and produced by the two (along with Steve Crosby). As one of The Big 5 countries, the UK pre-qualified for the Grand Final. On the big night, Josh Dubovie collected 10 points. Unfortunately, 24 other countries accumulated more, leaving “That Sounds Good To Me” behind in last place.
