2015

By the time Vienna played host city for the Eurovision Song Contest in 2015, the number of competitors had surpassed 40. The most recent addition to the ESC family is Australia. Despite being located a hemisphere away, the country was invited to participate as part of celebrations for the Contest’s 60^th anniversary. It has a guaranteed inclusion which is due to expire in 2023.
