Arguably the birth of rap metal, "Pour Some Sugar On Me" was an important single that changed the fortunes of British group Def Leppard. At the time, drummer Rick Allen had readjusted to his role within the band thanks to an electronic drum kit after a car accident had led to the loss of his left arm.
