Here are 50 Motion Picture Soundtrack Albums that evoke memories of the films they appeared in. The criteria was to include only movie soundtracks which consisted largely of new material, rather than a compilation of older songs or remakes.

The third take on the theme that was later also adapted by Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper starred Barbra Streisand and Kris Kristofferson. On screen, the two sparkled. The soundtrack proved to have wide appeal: reaching #1 in America, Britain and Canada. Highlights include the Oscar winning “Evergreen”, “Queen Bee”, “Lost Inside Of You”, “The Woman In The Moon” and “Everything”.
