The number of competitors for this year’s Eurovision Song Contest has remained the same with Moldova withdrawing and Montenegro returning. This year, the ESC will be held in host city Basel, Switzerland in May following that country’s third win in 2024. Caffè Lattè has ranked all of the 37 entries in terms of sonic quality, as it does annually. The higher the ranking, the better the song.

In 2025, Slovenia has gone for a sad ballad sung in English about a family with limited time. Despite this being an admirable effort to try something different, Eurovision may not be the most embracing environment for a song such as this. It will compete in Semi-Final 1 and will face a tough battle to qualify.
