BORN THIS WAY Lady Gaga Many early LGBT+ anthems were sad songs dealing with violence, discrimination, hatred and unrequited love. In later years, there’s been a shift towards themes of self-esteem, acceptance and inclusion. 2011’s “Born This Way” is unapologetic and potent. |
