Petula Clark was born in 1932 in England. During the 1960s, the singer enjoyed a string of hits not only in her homeland, but was one of the few females to benefit from the British pop Invasion in the USA. Tony Hatch and Jackie Trent had penned other songs for Clark. Released as a single in 1966, "Colour my World" reached the Top 20 in America, Canada and New Zealand. It fared even better in Australia, peaking at #10.
