Michael Zager was a disco producer who played keyboards. He wrote the song with Alvin Fields, an R&B singer that is perhaps better known for his compositions which also include "Think it Over" featuring Cissy Houston on vocals and "Am I Losing You" by The Manhattans. Zager had previously been a member of the group Ten Wheel Drive.
