Trivia:

"You're All I Need To Get By" was one of many classic duets recorded by Motown artists Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell. Many of these pairings were written by future married couple Nickolas Ashford and Valerie Simpson. The songwriters contributed background vocals on the track. Simpson also played piano on the track. Terrell died weeks prior to her 25th birthday. While Gaye read the eulogy at the singer's funeral, this song could be heard in the background.
