The first James Bond film premiered in Britain in 1962. It opened in America the following year. ‘Dr. No’ introduced the public to the most famous spy, with Sean Connery easily establishing himself as one of the most iconic film heroes.

Monty Norman composed the irresistible theme music. The John Barry Orchestra performed the instrumental on the film’s soundtrack. ‘Dr. No’ remains the only Bond movie with no pre-title sequence. Sadly, Norman passed away in 2022.
