The penultimate Bond film to feature Pierce Brosnan as 007 was ‘The World Is Not Enough’. Its title song was recorded by indie rock group Garbage. Lead vocalist Shirley Manson joined the elite list of singers to have graced the opening credits of the film franchise.
American band Garbage co-produced the track with David Arnold. The latter composed the music. Once again, Don Black contributed the lyrics for a Bond theme song.
On the charts, the single fared well. It peaked at #11 in the United Kingdom. “The World Is Not Enough” also made the Top 10 in various European nations.
