The Alan Parker directed film was so strong that it is still entertaining decades later. Its music has maintained its vitality too. The soundtrack made a star of Irene Cara. It's also interesting to hear a vulnerable soft side from Paul McCrane who emerged years later in TV's "ER" as the mean Dr Romano. His gay character in the film offers "Is It Okay If i Call You Mine?". Highlight
