THE RISE: CARL RISELEY
 Carl riseley the rise.jpg
 [2008]
Shortly after competing in "Australian Idol", the navy trumpeter released his debut album. His passion for his music is evident throughout. The rising talent wisely brings his trumpeting skills to the forefront. At the end of the day, Riseley is clearly a music fan. The songs covered on the album range from jazz to swing and pop. There are standards, radio staples and enjoyable reinterpretations of songs given a fresh approach. Highlight tracks: We've Only Just Begun; Reminiscing & Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is?
