Duck Sauce
North American duo Duck Sauce fused house and nu-disco on "Barbra Streisand". In 2010, the song went Top 10 in Europe, Britain and Australia. It sampled the Boney M track "Gotta Go Home".

Anita Ward
"Ring My Bell" gave Anita Ward her only hit single. Many disco hitmakers sadly became one-hit wonders. The single reached #1 in America, Britain, Canada and New Zealand in 1979.

Pointer Sisters
When disco fell out of public favour in the early 1980s, The Pointer Sisters' dance hits served as a bridge between the genre and new directions in pop/dance. "Neutron Dance" was a 1984 Top 10 hit in America, Canada and Australia.

2 disco groups (EW&F and The Emotions) joined forces on the disco smash "Boogie Wonderland" which was issued in 1979. It went Top 10 in America, Britain, Australia and New zealand.

Depeche Mode
The marriage of synth-pop and new wave spawned the catchy dance hit "Just Can't Get Enough" for British group Depeche Mode in 1981.

The techno rave single "Here's Johnny" reached #1 in Australia in 1995 for the act Hocus Pocus.
