As countries begin selecting their entries for the Eurovision Song Contest in May, this blog will look back on the stats and the best from each of the 43 participating nations.

Dona (Kaliopi).jpgNinanajna.JPGFYR Macedonia first emerged at Eurovision in 1998. Out of its 16 unsuccessful attempts to win, its best result to date is 12th place in 2006 with  the song "Ninanajna". Last year, the Macedoninan entry "Dona" failed to make the Grand Final.
This year, Macedonia will be represented by singer Jana Burceska.
