Oleta Adams broke through internationally with her 'Circle Of One' album in 1990. Her rendition of "Get Here" was a Top 10 smash in both the United Kingdom and America. 

The soulful ballad was a cover of the original recorded by its composer American singer / songwriter Brenda Russell. It served as the title track from her 1988 LP 'Get Here'.
