prior versions of the same song.
Go West
In 1993, British duo Pet Shop Boys released "Go West". The gay anthem went Top 10 in Europe, Britain, Australia and Japan. It also topped the US Dance Music / Club Play Singles Chart.
The original version of "Go West" was recorded by the American pop/ disco outfit Village People. In 1979, the song was issued as a single. It was also the title track from the group's LP that same year.
