ROCK ‘N' ROLL BAND
Image result for abba rock 'n' roll bandThe original take on "Rock 'N' Roll Band" was recorded by Bjorn and Benny. It was used as a B-side for one of their pre-ABBA singles. The version found on the 'Ring Ring' LP added vocals from Agnetha and Frida. The band commenced recording this take on September 26, 1972. It highlights the impact of recruiting the 2 female members.

HOLE IN YOUR SOUL
Image result for abba hole in your soulSpawned from elements of the song "Get On The Carousel", "Hole In Your Soul" was initially slated as the lead single from 'Abba- The Album'. Its original title was "High On Your Love". ABBA began recording the track in early August 1977.

ME AND I
Image result for abba me and iABBA started cutting "Me And I" on September 8, 1980. The track features Frida singing lead as a protagonist with split personalities. It was included on the 'Super Trouper' album. Lasse Wellander contributed on guitar.

LOVE ISN’T EASY
(BUT IT SURE IS HARD ENOUGH)

Benny and Bjorn were beginning to comprehend the magic ingredient they had added to the band's sound by recruiting Agnetha and Frida. "Love Isn't Easy (But It Sure Is Hard Enough)" remains an early preview of what the band could create as a unit. It was recorded on March 14, 1973.

KISSES OF FIRE
Does Your Mother Know (Abba single - cover art).jpgAgnetha infused "Kisses Of Fire" with a sultry vocal as only she could. It is buoyed by a disco beat. Benny and Bjorn wrote the song while in the Bahamas. Recording began back in Sweden in February 1979. The track was included on the 'Voulez-Vous' album.
