EUROVISION 2018 PREVIEW

Eurovision expanded its borders welcoming Israel into the Contest in 1973. The country has won on 3 occasions: 1978, 1979 and 1998. Dana International become the first transgender victor with "Diva" in the latter ESC.
This year's hopes are pinned on "Toy", to be performed in English by 25 year-old singer Netta. The entry will definitely stand out during Semi Final 1 and should progress to the Grand Final with ease.
At present, Israel is among the favourites to win this year in Lisbon. It will be a wecome change from the serious tones of the previous 2 years' victors.
