James Reyne first tasted success as the lead singer of Australian rock band Australian Crawl. When the group split, he launched a solo career which continues to this day. "Hammerhead" was his second solo single and peaked at #8 in his homeland. It features Olivia Newton-John on backup vocals. The song deals with addiction.
