Trivia:
The then married couple Ike and Tina Turner scored a hit with a remake of the Creedence Clearwater Revival song "Proud Mary". That original interpretation peaked at #2 in America and reached #8 in Britain in 1969-70. Tina re-recorded a solo version of the song in 1993 for the 'What's Love Got To Do With It' biopic based on her life.
