While the duet "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" was the original hit version,it became an even bigger chart success in 1970. Written by couple Valerie Simpson and Nikolas Ashford, the Marvin Gaye & Tammni Terrell collaboration was covered 3 years later by Diana Ross. It became her first solo US #1 single.
