Trivia:
Simple Minds' lead vocalist Jim Kerr was inspired to pen "Belfast Child" after watching a news item. In 1987, a bombing in Enniskillen resulted in the death of 11 people. This song about "the Troubles" in Ireland was included on the band's 'Ballad Of The Streets' EP. "Belfast Child" also reached #1 in Ireland.
