San Marino has tried diverse approaches to Eurovision, even recruiting Flo Rida for its 2021 entry. This year’s song may at first glance seem like an attempt to imitate the 2021 Italian winning entry. Against the tough field in Semi-Final 2, the song may face strong competition, but it does possess some advantages. In a year with many inferior songs, it will stand out. Along with its Italian lyrics, there are English words, unlike last year’s victor. Achille Lauro is an established artist in Italy and has competed thrice in the Sanremo Festival. The song deserves to progress to the Grand Final.
